Call for Papers

The Program Committee strongly encourages you to submit a paper (or papers) to be presented as a poster(s) at LatinDisplay 2019. In presenting a paper, you will benefit from this privileged forum to discuss technical and scientific work on displays and related technologies.

Your paper may be on a wide variety of relevant topics on displays and related technologies such as (but not limited to):

• Displays (LCDs, AM-LCDs, OLEDs, plasma, reflective, transparent, flexible, 3D, projection, electrophoretic, video walls etc)
• Innovative applications: TV, telecommunications, automotive, avionics, military, mobile, medical imaging, education, signage, advertising, multimedia, cinema, etc.
• Touch screens, tablets, digital boards and other peripherals
• Manufacturing processes
• Materials: LCs, alignment materials, phosphors, materials for OLEDs, etc.
• Backlight units (BLUs) and methods to improve sun-legibility
• Flat-panel measurements and standards
• Color performance and high ambient display enhancement

The accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings of LatinDisplay 2019. The Serial of the Proceedings is indexed at the Library of Congress, in Washington D.C., as ISSN 1946-3871.

According to their relevance, full manuscripts of papers presented at LatinDisplay 2019 may be recommended for publication in the “Journal of the Society for Information Display” (JSID). For more information about this reputed periodical see "Journal of SID”.

To publish a paper in the LatinDisplay 2019 Proceedings or in JSID the authors must transfer their copyrights in the paper to SID by signing a SID Copyright Form. See more information at SID Copyrights.
