Abstract/paper Submission
To submit contributions you must register to LatinDisplay 2008.
Deadline for abstract submission: October 13th, 2008.
Notification of acceptance: October 20th, 2008.
Deadline for paper or extended abstract submission: October 31th, 2008.
Contributed posters
The participants are invited to contribute with scientific and technical posters on all aspects of displays (LCDs, FEDs, holographic, PDPs, DMDs, OLEDs, TFELs etc.), related techonologies (touch-screens, tablets, optical switches, etc.), and solar cells. The posters may cover materials, processes, design, testing reliability, modeling, electronic circuits, ergonomics and applications of displays and solar cells.
The abstracts (50–100 words) must be submitted for refereeing preferably in English. They must be prepared according to Template 1 and submitted electronically in PDF format. Template 1 can be downloaded using the link at the bottom of this page.
Proceedings
Authors of accepted abstracts must send extended abstracts or complete papers to be published in the Proceedings. Originals must be written preferably in English, but Portuguese and Spanish will be accepted as well.
Extended abstracts may contain up to 400 words besides figures, tables and references. Complete papers may contain up to 8 pages. Both extended abstracts and complete papers must be prepared according to Template 2 and submitted electronically in PDF format. Template 2 can be downloaded using the link at the bottom of this page.
Posters on groups and laboratories
The participants are also invited to present posters on their institutions, laboratories or groups to enhance the interaction between the members of the networks and the Latin American Chapter. Abstracts must be submitted according to the above instructions, using Template 2..
