Advanced tracking algorithms for human-motion images capture

Since the first and more prominent theories about attention, proposed by Broadbent (1958), Treisman (1960), and Deutsch and Deutsch (1963), a considerable amount of work has been done up to now in this field. With the boom of internet, endless amounts of research and application became possible using these theories. The aim of this work is to studying human-motion variations in computer users as a function of stimulations provided by contents from internet web pages. The movements are going to be captured by conventional webcams and the images will be processed by using advanced tracking algorithms. All the relevant data acquisition information will be saved in a database for posterior analysis.
