SID Recognition

The Senior Member Grade Committee of SID recognizes Latin Display Conferences for awarding Senior Member Grade to SID Members. Paper publications in the Proceedings of Latin Display conferences are counted against the criteria for papers published in SID sponsored conferences.

Senior Members are those individuals who are recognized to have made significant technical contributions to the advancement of displays and who have demonstrated active participation in the display community and in SID.

The SID Senior Member Grade Committee evaluates, approves and confers the Senior Member Grade. This Committee is composed of the President-Elect as Chair and of at least three SID Members, one from each Region (Americas, Europe and Asia), being appointed by their respective Regional Vice Presidents.

Journal of SID

Full manuscripts of papers presented at LatinDisplay 2012/IDRC 2012 will be selected by the Program Committee according to their scientific and technical relevance and originality, text clarity and organization; they will be recommended for publication in the “Journal of the Society for Information Display” (JSID). Paper acceptance by JSID depends on the criteria of the Board of Editors of JSID.
